Belly 2 belly....28 weeks

I think I ate the bigger turkey this year!
Andy and I enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving together with family! We first drove to Happy Valley for lunch and ate at Gran and Papaw's house. Then we went to Kenneth's (Don's brother) home to visit, but no eating for us here; because, we finished up Thanksgiving at Jane's (Andy's great aunt) home.

Here is a pic from Jane's...It looks like I ate a whole turkey this Thanksgiving!

Andy and I can't believe that next Thanksgiving Abram will be here! We are on the countdown of less than 3 months. So far we have been blessed with a healthy mommy-to-be, a healthy Abram, a healthy daddy-to-be, and a healthy pregnancy! WoW...Thanksgiving has taken on a new meaning this year!

Andy and I had our first baby shower on Nov 7th. We had such a wonderful time with family, friends, food, and lots of presents for Abram! Andy and I are so very blessed to have a great support system composed of our family and friends! Here are a few pictures from the shower!

Fall Festival Fun @ 21wks

I know it has been past time to post another profile picture of my belly. So here I am @ 21 weeks! It has certainly grown since the last time I posted a picture of myself. I am feeling Abram move around everyday!

This weekend was the Fall Festival in Maryville. Andy and I did not go to any of the concerts, but we did walk around down-town to check out the vending area. While we were walking we ran into some of my friends from work. Here are a couple of picutures!

Baby Registry

Andy and I have completed our baby registries! We registered at Pottery Barn Kids, Babies-R-US, and Target. Also for those of you in Maryville, I picked out just handful of things at Dandy Lions.

Check out our registries!

Abram's first video @ 20 weeks!

So it has been a while since I posted...sorry!

Last week Andy and I had our 20wk ultrasound. Everything is looking great! So far I have gained 10 pounds, which is right on track for a healthy pregnancy. My blood pressure is nice and low...so momma is healthy. Abram is doing great also. He is in the 96th percentile...so do not expect a dainty, little baby! (FYI Andy weighted 10 lbs 1 oz when he was born and I was 8 lbs!) I have posted a 3 minutes video of the ultrasound. He was very wiggly throughout the ultrasound so you can see him move about! You can see his heart beating and at one point in the video you can even hear it beating!

Now that I am officially past 20 wks, I am halfway finished with my pregnancy. Andy and I can't believe that in just a few months we are going to have a little boy in our home!

Baby Bedding

Kasey Striped Toddler Quilt, Navy
After much looking and searching...I THINK this will be Abram's baby bedding. It is from Pottery Barn Kids. I was wanting some bedding with green and blue...but I did not want it to be too babyish. I really like this bedding because it has the colors that I was wanting, and it also had some navy and dark brown stripping. I am thinking about ordering one of the small baby pillows to make sure I like what it looks like in person.

Wiggly Abram

Last night, on Sept 6th, Andy and I were laying in bed talking....and I felt Abram move! That was the first time that I have felt him. I have heard a lot of women describe the first movements of their baby as a flutter, but this was definitely more than a flutter! I felt it a few times and Andy even got to feel it once!

Out with the old...

Andy and I finally had our yard sale last Saturday that we have been wanting to have for months! Here is Colin helping us! He sported Andy's 4-wheeling helmet for most of the day. Out with the old...making room for baby Abram!

Abram Michael and ME @ 15 wks

On Monday, August 30th, Andy and I had an OBGYN appt. This appointment was just one of my monthly appts, and we were not suppose to have anything exciting happen. However, the doctor had to go upstairs to deliver a baby, and so we ended up waiting for an hour and a half! After about an hr, the ultrasound tech came into the waiting and said, "Mrs. Hearon, are you ready for your free ultrasound?" I thought she was joking at first, but Andy and I followed her into the ultrasound room. Then, I realized that she was not kidding. She said that sometimes when the doctors are running far behind, they do free ultrasounds! I was thrilled because this was such a surprise AND I knew she would be able to tell me what the sex of the baby was. As she was doing the ultrasound, Andy asks if she can tell us what the baby is. The ultrasound tech laughed and said, "You are trying to get everything you can out of this free ultrasound!" She repositioned the scanner and we saw that it was a boy!

...and here is my baby bump @ 15 wks!

Our First Post!

I have decided that since Andy and I now have an expanding family, we should start blogging! Now ALL of our family can follow my pregnancy and watch Abram as he grows! My goal is to post at least once a week...we will see how I do with that. I hope you enjoy watching our lives through our new blog!
