Baby Bedding

Kasey Striped Toddler Quilt, Navy
After much looking and searching...I THINK this will be Abram's baby bedding. It is from Pottery Barn Kids. I was wanting some bedding with green and blue...but I did not want it to be too babyish. I really like this bedding because it has the colors that I was wanting, and it also had some navy and dark brown stripping. I am thinking about ordering one of the small baby pillows to make sure I like what it looks like in person.

Wiggly Abram

Last night, on Sept 6th, Andy and I were laying in bed talking....and I felt Abram move! That was the first time that I have felt him. I have heard a lot of women describe the first movements of their baby as a flutter, but this was definitely more than a flutter! I felt it a few times and Andy even got to feel it once!

Out with the old...

Andy and I finally had our yard sale last Saturday that we have been wanting to have for months! Here is Colin helping us! He sported Andy's 4-wheeling helmet for most of the day. Out with the old...making room for baby Abram!

Abram Michael and ME @ 15 wks

On Monday, August 30th, Andy and I had an OBGYN appt. This appointment was just one of my monthly appts, and we were not suppose to have anything exciting happen. However, the doctor had to go upstairs to deliver a baby, and so we ended up waiting for an hour and a half! After about an hr, the ultrasound tech came into the waiting and said, "Mrs. Hearon, are you ready for your free ultrasound?" I thought she was joking at first, but Andy and I followed her into the ultrasound room. Then, I realized that she was not kidding. She said that sometimes when the doctors are running far behind, they do free ultrasounds! I was thrilled because this was such a surprise AND I knew she would be able to tell me what the sex of the baby was. As she was doing the ultrasound, Andy asks if she can tell us what the baby is. The ultrasound tech laughed and said, "You are trying to get everything you can out of this free ultrasound!" She repositioned the scanner and we saw that it was a boy!

...and here is my baby bump @ 15 wks!

Our First Post!

I have decided that since Andy and I now have an expanding family, we should start blogging! Now ALL of our family can follow my pregnancy and watch Abram as he grows! My goal is to post at least once a week...we will see how I do with that. I hope you enjoy watching our lives through our new blog!
