Taken last night (Sunday night 2/13/11). Hopefully this is my last week of pregnancy with Abram! We are ready for him to be here! For this picture I am 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant. My belly button as completed popped out as you can see...that is my timer saying that he is done!
I must say that I can not complain too much. I have had a wonderful pregnancy with no complications. I just finished working my last shift 2 nights ago. We are thankful that I was able to work up through the end of my pregnancy. Although, I must say I am happy to officially be on maternity leave now. My blood pressure has been great my entire pregnancy. I have gain in total 33-34 pounds which is right on track for a healthy pregnancy. I have had little to none of the typically pregnancy miseries such as no swelling, no constipation, no heart burn...and things of that nature. I am all belly as you can see from the picture and am now just waiting on Abram to get here!

Abram's Nursery!
Abram's nursery is nearly completed! The only things I lack are 2 pieces of wall art. A friend/co-worker of mine is painting a large canvas picture for me (or should I say for Abram) of the pond on the Happy Valley property. I also am having Don burn Abram's initials into a sliver of a tree trunk that will also hang on the wall. Besides those 2 decorations the nursery is completed and is waiting for Abram to come!
It was important to me to decorate Abram's nursery in a theme that had meaning to me and Andy. Once we found out it was a boy...it was pretty easy for me to know what direction I wanted to go in. Since Andy loves hunting, farming, hiking, and pretty much anything that involves spending time in Happy Valley...I wanted to go with a woodsy/outdoorsy theme! I feel like we captured the theme perfectly with our decor and Andy is very happy with it as well!
I choose bedding that did not have a theme, but rather the colors were more important to me. The bedding is a variation of mostly blues and greens which match the outdoors theme! I do not know if you can see it very well, but I found a mobile that has a squirrel, fox, raccoon, and owl hanging from it. I knew this mobile was perfect for Abram because when the day comes that Andy takes Abram hunting for his first hunt...I assume they will probably be hunting squirrel or something of the sort. So this mobile is helping Abram to hunt squirrel from the first moments of life!!!!
Please click on this picture to enlarge it on your computer screen. This is a piece of artwork that was created by my minister's wife, Courtney, and their children. Courtney has told me that they looked up my bedding on Pottery Barn's website and also looked up pictures of Abram's creek and using an old wallpaper book designed this amazing piece of abstract art! They captured the feeling and the theme of the room perfectly! I absolutely love this piece and have received many compliments on it when people visit the nursery!
Here is Abram's bookshelf. Notice all of the children books on the bottom shelf. Annie, who hosted my church shower, had the idea of people giving Abram a book instead of a card with their gift. So now Abram has a wonderful start to his children book collection! Also notice the set of deer antlers hanging above the bookcase. I only have to say that allowing Andy to hang a rack of antlers does make me one awesome wife! :)
A close up of the lamp on Abram's bookshelf. Andy had this lamp in his room when he was a child!
On the opposite side of the room from the crib is his chest of drawers/changing table. Above this piece of furniture is where I am going to hang the painting from my co-worker. To the wall on the right is where I will hang the thin, sliver of tree trunk when that gets finished. I will post pics when I get the rest of my decor up!
Another close-up pic of the diaper cake from my church shower. I believe Annie used size 2 diapers....so this will be a decoration in the room until Abram grows into size 2 diapers!

snow, snow, SNOW !!!
It is hard to believe how much snow we have gotten this winter! With one of the bigger snow falls in January, Andy and I decided to take our dogs out in it and have a little fun!
We barely got me stuffed into some of Andy's warm hunting gear since I do not fit into any of my winter, insulated clothes!
